<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce luminance unevenness without acquiring accurate adjustment. <P>SOLUTION: The lighting device is equipped with: a plurality of light sources 1a and 1b emitting nearly parallel beams; and an optical path changing member 2 having light separating members (polarizing beam splitters 3a and 3b) reflecting the half of the nearly parallel beams emitted by the respective light sources 1a and 1b and transmitting the remaining half, and radiating the light from the respective light sources 1a and 1b to all the area of the same irradiation surface (light incident surface of an integrator lens 71) after arranging the light in the same direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
