PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a silver salt photothermographic dry imaging material having high sensitivity and low fogging and improved in silver tone and storage stability, and a method for producing the same. SOLUTION: The silver salt photothermographic dry imaging material contains, on a support, non-photosensitive aliphatic carboxylic acid silver salt particles, photosensitive silver halide grains, a reducing agent for silver ions, a binder and an amphiphilic polymer, wherein the amphiphilic polymer is a copolymer containing an N-vinyl monomer as a polymerized component.
