PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tubular shaft for a tubular shaft instrument, which can be adapted to an anatomical structure of a patient.SOLUTION: An actuating rod 30 is axially displaceable relative to a hollow shaft member to thereby move the distal segments of the functional elements toward one another, past one another and/or away from one another and has region 32, 33 in which a flexible part and a supporting part are alternated, and in which the actuating rod 30 has bending resistance in a transverse direction smaller than the outside of the region. The hollow shaft member has a region in which a wall has a notch and in which the shaft member has bending resistance in a transverse direction smaller than bending resistance in the outside of the region. At least one region of the actuating rod and the region of the shaft member are partially overlapped in a longitudinal direction of a tubular shaft. A friction-reducing layer for reducing friction between an inner wall of the shaft member and the actuating rod is provided in at least one of the regions of the actuating rod. |
