The invention relates to a formulation for the release of bioactive substances, characterised in that it includes at least: (a) one or more inorganic release media; (b) one or more additives that stabilise the medium; and (c) a third component selected from among (c.1) one or more semichemical substances, (c.2) one or more insecticides and (c.3) combinations of c.1 and c.2, said inorganic release medium preferably comprising inorganic molecular sieves, clays or mixtures of same. The invention also relates to the use thereof for pest control.
