PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a white ink set, giving images with excellent color development and rubfastness recorded on a base white ink.SOLUTION: The ink set contains a deep white ink composition and a light white composition each having a different mass proportion of a white color material. Either of the deep white ink composition and the light white ink composition contains at least the white color material and a urethane resin. In the ink set, the ratio (E1/P1) of the mass proportion E1 of the urethane resin to the mass proportion P1 of the white color material in the deep white ink composition is smaller than the ratio (E2/P2) of the mass proportion E2 of the urethane resin to the mass proportion P2 of the white color material in the light white ink composition. Also, the mass proportion E1 of the urethane resin in the deep white ink composition is different from the mass proportion E2 of the urethane resin in the light white ink composition. |
