Provided is an article provided with a microneedle array with which the distribution of a composition is adjusted with high accuracy. A droplet discharge device (10) of a microneedle-array production device (1) is configured so as to be capable of discharging, into each of a plurality of recesses, droplets of a starting material liquid which respectively correspond to a prescribed amount equal to or less than the volume of each the recesses. A position alignment device (20) is capable of aligning the relative positions of the droplet discharge device (10) and a mould (80) such that the droplets from the droplet discharge device (10) are made to land in each of the recesses. The droplet discharge device (10) discharges a plurality of the droplets into each of the recesses. The position alignment device aligns the relative positions of the droplet discharge device and the mould such that the second droplet in each of the recesses lands further towards a central section side than the first droplet.
