COMPOUND FROM THE RICE STRAW EXTRACT AND ITS ALGICIDAL ACTIVITY AGAINST BLUE-GREEN ALGAE

摘要

The present invention relates to a compound derived from a rice straw extract and use thereof for inhibiting growth of blue-green algae. The compound has an excellent effect of inhibiting growth of blue-green algae and thus can be advantageously used for inhibiting growth of blue-green algae, which inhibit the growth of rice. The compound is represented by Chemical formula 1 wherein R1, R2, and R3 are independently hydrogen, hydroxy, C1-C6 akly, or C1-C6 alkoxy.
