PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bristle material for a polishing brush with the excellent heat and humidity resistance and hardness of the bristle material, and exhibiting durable polishing performance, and to provide the polishing brush.SOLUTION: A bristle material for a polishing brush comprises a monofilament formed by melt-spinning a resin composition containing 5-50 mass parts of polishing abrasion material particles to 100 mass parts of a semi-aromatic polyamide resin obtained by a polycondensation reaction of the 4-10C diamine component with a terephthalic acid component. |
