This turbocharger (1) is provided with: a rotating shaft (4) extending along an axis line (O); a turbine rotor (2) provided at one end of the rotating shaft (4); a compressor rotor (3) provided at the other end of the rotating shaft (4); a roller bearing (5) rotatably supporting the rotating shaft (4) around the axis line (O) between the turbine rotor (2) and the compressor rotor (3); a housing (6) covering the roller bearing (5) from the outer circumferential side; and a cylindrical sleeve (80A) provided inside the housing (6) and disposed on the outer circumferential side of an outer ring (51) of the roller bearing (5) so as to be spaced apart from the outer ring (51) by a gap (S) for holding lubricating oil between the sleeve (80A) and the outer ring (51), the cylindrical sleeve having at least a portion thereof made of a damping material. |
