A method and device for displaying content on the same screen, and terminal device. The method comprises: displaying, on a display device, an application interface of an application, and displaying on the same screen, on the application interface, an overlay region (S100); disposing a content loader corresponding to the overlay region (S110); determining display content of the overlay region (S120); and invoking the content loader, and loading the determined display content to the overlay region for displaying (S130). The method stably loads and displays dynamic content in the overlay region displayed on the same screen on the application interface.
