PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polycarbonate resin composition having high transparency and good color tone and providing a molded article which is hardly charged when released from a metallic mold, and a thin-walled optical component.SOLUTION: There is provided the polycarbonate resin composition that contains based on 100 pts.mass of a polycarbonate resin (A), over 2 pts.mass to 10 pts.mass of polyalkylene glycol (B) containing 40 to 100 mass% of poly linear alkylene glycol (B1) derived from linear alkylene glycol having 4 or more carbon atoms or a derivative of the poly linear alkylene glycol (B1) and 60 to 0 mass% of poly branched alkylene glycol (B2) derived from branched alkylene glycol having 3 or more carbon atoms or a derivative of the poly branched alkylene glycol (B2) ( total of (B1) and (B2) is calculated as 100 mass%).SELECTED DRAWING: None
