PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reaping apparatus for a combine harvester, with which a cutting blade apparatus is brought closely to a levee, standing grain straws close to the levee are reaped, a manual cutting operation is reduced and efficiency of a harvesting operation by the combine harvester is improved. SOLUTION: In opening the front of the cutting blade apparatus 27, raising apparatuses 36 and 36 are made to elevate and retreat from the front side by the vertical rotations of rotation type transmission housings 34 and 34 as a first means. The right and left raising apparatuses 36 and 36 are made to elevate and retreat from the front side of the cutting blade apparatus 27 by the vertical rotations in the opposing directions of the right and left rotation type transmission housings 34 and 34 as a second means. The right and left raising apparatus 36 and 36 are made to elevate and retreat from the front side of the cutting blade apparatus 27 by the vertical rotations in the same directions of the right and left rotation type transmission housings 34 and 34 as a third means.
