PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus etc., which eliminates trouble that a user has to take when settings of communication are changed. SOLUTION: The image processing apparatus has a RAM 103 which stores image data, a display part 105 which displays an image based upon the image data, a communication means 106 of communicating with other device to send and receive image data, a communication setting means 107 of making settings of communication with other device, and a notifying means 108 of notifying the location of the image data received from other device, and the display part 105 displays the location of the image data notified by the notifying means 108 on the basis of the settings of communication made by the communication setting means 107.
