PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a belt fixing device capable of evenly completely heating a fixing belt even when large quantity of heat is required such as when high-speed output or fixing for cardboard, causing no problem on the oblique advancing or durability of the fixing belt and enabling the cost thereof to be prevented from being increased. SOLUTION: The belt fixing device 1 has an internal heating roller 11 press-contacting with a fixing roller 3 in a hollow part formed inside the fixing belt 2, and the internal heating roller 11 is meshed with the fixing roller 3 by gear structure at a position corresponding to the paper non-passing area on the fixing roller 3, and rotates to follow the rotation of the fixing roller 3. The heat transferred from an internal heater lamp 11a arranged inside the hollow of the internal heating roller 11 to the surface of the fixing roller 3 through the internal heating roller 11 is transferred to the fixing belt 2.
