PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device which has increased rigidity while being made low-profile. SOLUTION: The display device with a display panel and a support member which supports the display panel in the device is provided with: a sheet metal member on the rear surface of the display panel; and an engagement member for integrating the sheet metal member and the support member.
