PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tracker with detection data compression errors reduced by controlling compression time on detection data within a track transfer period according to the situation. SOLUTION: This tracker is equipped with a correlation means 3 for finding a correlation between the detection data inputted from a sensor 1 and a target track, a tracking filter means 4 for thereinto inputting the detection data with a correlation found thereon by the correlation means 3 to generate a followed track, a track file 100 for managing the target track and the followed track, and a detection data compression means 5 controlling the compression time within the track transfer period according to the detecting situation while compressing the detection data with the correlation found thereon on a compression time basis to transfer the data as track information.
