PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a concentration measuring method and concentration measuring kit of isothiazolone group capable of being easily and inexpensively applied in a field where the isothiazolone group is actually used. SOLUTION: When the isothiazolone group and reaction product are produced, the isothiazolone group is brought into contact with metal ions or metal complex of a metal element capable of changing light absorption or fluorescence spectrum, and variation of the light absorption or fluorescence spectrum caused by the reaction of the metal element with the isothiazolone group is measured.
