摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base material for a biomolecule inspection element and the biomolecule inspection element having low self-fluorescence, high ultraviolet transmissivity, and excellent workability or productivity, capable of immobilizing easily a reference biomolecule such as DNA, and preventing generation of bubbles causing detection obstacle. SOLUTION: An alicyclic olefin polymer having a beam transmissivity of 80% or more in 330 nm-340 nm with the thickness of 1 mm of the optical path length is blended and kneaded with a hindered amine compound having the beam transmissivity of 80% or more in 280 nm-300 nm measured by a 10-mm optical path cell in 5-wt.% chloroform solution and a molecular weight of 1,500 or more, to thereby acquire a pellet-shaped resin composition, and the resin composition is subjected to injection molding, to thereby acquire this base material for the biomolecule inspection element whose contact angle with respect to water is 85°or less.
