<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for supporting the determination of budget allocation for aseismatic investments that is capable of supporting a quick determination of budget allocation with high cost-effectiveness for a plurality of buildings within the limited budget of aseismatic investments. <P>SOLUTION: The apparatus for supporting determination of budget allocation inputs a predetermined investment budget, a plurality of structural system plans 35 for the buildings to be newly built or rebuilt, a plurality of aseismatic structural system plans 36 and/or the current structural systems of a plurality of buildings to be renovated, and a plurality of aseismatic renovation plans; calculates the initial costs of the structural system plans and of the aseismatic structural system plans and/or the aseismatic renovation plans; evaluates the earthquake risks of the structural system plans, the aseismatic structural system plans and/or the current structural systems, and the aseismatic renovation plans; calculates internal rates of return on the basis of the initial costs, the difference between the earthquake risks of the structural system plans and the aseismatic structural system plans and/or the difference between the earthquake risks of the current structural systems and the aseismatic renovation plans, for combinations of the aseismatic structural system plans and/or the aseismatic renovation plans for which the total of the initial costs is within the range of the investment budget; and outputs the internal rates of return and the combinations of the aseismatic structural system plans and/or the aseismatic renovation plans in decreasing order of the internal rates of return. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
