PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector capable of surely preventing wear between both terminal fittings. SOLUTION: This connector is provided with connectors F and M fittable to each other. The female connector F is provided with: a female housing 10 having a 13 cavity penetrating in the fitting direction of both the connectors F and M; a female terminal fitting 40 inserted in the cavity 13; a seal member 90 sealing an area between a wire harness W connected to a rear part of the female terminal fitting 40 and the inside surface of the cavity 13; striking parts 44 formed in the female terminal fitting 40, and capable of being struck in the fitting direction against a male terminal fitting 70 mounted to the male connector M; and a keeping member 100 mounted to a rear part of the female housing 10 through the seal member 90 with the female terminal fitting 40 energized frontward, and keeping the male terminal fitting 70 and the striking part 40 in a contact state in the fitting state of both the connectors F and M.
