PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To rapidly attain a prescribed temperature necessary for sterilization by utilizing hot air not limited by the materials of medical treatment wastes and directly blowing the hot air into the medical treatment wastes. SOLUTION: The treatment device for making medical treatment wastes harmless consists of a bucket conveyor section (3) which transfers plural buckers (2) housing bag bodies (P) housing he medical wastes (M) while rotating these buckets stepwise toward a prescribed direction, thermal sterilization sections (4 and 4a) which subject the medical wastes housed in the buckets to thermal sterilization, a compressing treatment section (5) which compresses the medical wastes subjected to the thermal sterilization to cake-like materials (C) and a discharge section (7) which discharges the cake-like materials from the compressing treatment section. The device described above is provided with a heating air feed pipe (23) and a discharge pipe (25) and the heating air feed pipe is provided with a hot air blowing device (24). The heating air feed pipe (23) and the discharge pipe are depressed by hydraulic cylinders and the hot air is blown from the heating air feed pipe pierced into the bag bodies to the bag bodies so that the medical wastes are subjected to the thermal sterilization. |
