PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to carry out detailed setting for a job during a start processing right after resumption from turning on the power source of an information processor or saving energy.SOLUTION: An information processing system comprises: a first information processor having its own processor, which receives an operation from a user; and a second information processor having its own processor, which operates based on a request from the first information processor. The first information processor includes: means that starts independently without waiting for the completion of the start of the second information processing device when resuming from turning on a power source or saving energy; means for providing a user interface while having started independently; and means by which a job accepted via the user interface from a user while it has been started is activated in the second information processing device after this second information processing device is started.
