PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering device capable of clearly determining that, in a case of secondary collision, a shock absorbing function triggered by destruction of a pin is normally operated.SOLUTION: On a fixed bracket 23 fixed on a vehicle body, a first penetration hole 66 is formed. On a movable bracket 24 movable relative to the fixed bracket 23 along with a predetermined direction X1 upon secondary collision, a second penetration hole 67 is formed. A pin 61 bridging between and inserted into the first penetration hole 66 and the second penetration hole 67, which are in facing condition each other, upon secondary collision, is broken between the first penetration hole 66 and the second penetration hole 67, which become to shift each other, to allow relative movement of the movable bracket 24 relative to the fixed bracket 23 in the predetermined direction X1. A under plate 80 attached to the movable bracket 24 closes the second penetration hole 67 from downward. |
