PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for an optical fiber combiner, which allows for enhancing mechanical strength, and to provide the optical fiber combiner and a laser apparatus.SOLUTION: An optical fiber combiner 1 includes; a plurality of input optical fibers 20, each having a core 21 and a clad 22 surrounding the core 21; a bridge fiber 30 having portions, each for propagating light entering from the respective input optical fiber 20; and glass bodies 50 which are fused with end faces 27 of the clads 22 bundled together, with each adjacent side surface thereof touching another, at ends of the plurality of input optical fibers 20 on at least one end-face side and with one end face 36 of the bridge fiber 30, where each glass body 50 has a diameter larger than a diameter of the core 21 and smaller than an outer diameter of the clad 22.Each adjacent glass body 50 is not fused with others. |
