Disclosed is a system in which a vehicle-mounted device (10) and a mobile device (20) are connected over a communication protocol. The vehicle-mounted device (10) comprises: a storage unit (14) that stores implementation information on a mail transmission function prescribed by the communication protocol; a control unit (11) that determines, from the information in the storage unit (14), the implementation of the mail transmission function of the mobile device (20) in accordance with a mail transmission instruction to the mobile device (20); and a processing unit (12) that, in cases where the mail transmission function is implemented, transmits a text-for-mailing created by the vehicle-mounted device to the mobile device (20) and instructs the mobile device (20) to create an email according to the text-for-mailing and transmit the same to an external network, and that, in cases where the mail transmission function is not implemented, instructs the mobile device (20) to create a text-for-mailing. The mobile device (20) comprises: a text creating unit (22) that creates a text-for-mailing in accordance with an instruction from the vehicle-mounted device (10); and a control unit (21) that transmits an email based on the created text-for-mailing to an external network. |
