The purpose of the present invention is to provide a position detection sensor in which precision can be maintained even when forming a loop coil upon a sheet-shaped board by using a copper paste and heat processing. This position detection sensor comprises a sheet-shaped board formed from a polyimide resin upon which a track pattern is formed by printing with a copper paste, which includes powdered copper and a binder, the track pattern forming a plurality of loop coils for position detection upon heat treating. Upon one face of the sheet-shaped board, the copper paste track pattern is formed so as to extend in a first direction, and the track pattern which is formed to extend in the first direction is formed at a prescribed pitch in a second direction which is orthogonal to the first direction. Upon another face of the sheet-shaped board, the copper paste track pattern is formed so as to extend in the second direction, and the track pattern which is formed to extend in the second direction is formed at a prescribed pitch in the first direction. |
