PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To conduct a recovery diagnosis more appropriately when an abnormal fixed state occurs to a throttle valve of an engine.SOLUTION: When an abnormal fixed state occurs to a throttle valve, fail-safe driving (evacuation running) is performed with the throttle valve fixed to an opener opening (S100); a recovery diagnosis cooling water temperature T1 is set to be lower as a storage state SOC of a battery is lower (S120); and when a cooling water temperature Tw of the engine becomes equal to or higher than the recovery diagnosis cooling water temperature T1, a recovery-from-fixed-state diagnosis is conducted to determine whether the throttle valve has been recovered from the abnormal fixed state (S150). As a result, as the storage state SOC of the battery is lower, it is possible to diagnose at earlier timing whether the throttle valve has been recovered from the abnormal fixed state and to return to normal driving at earlier timing. It is, therefore, possible to conduct the recovery-from-fixed-state diagnosis more appropriately.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
