PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a block molding machine capable of correctly detecting a time point for stopping pressing during press molding of a block material in a frame mold by a compressor.SOLUTION: A block molding machine comprises: a frame mold 30; a compressor 50; and a table support device 40, and lowers the compressor 50 to compression-mold a block material in the frame mold 30 with a force plunger 51 for producing a block. The compressor 50 comprises a first detection member 60, and the table support device 40 comprises a second detection member 70. The block molding machine further comprises a controller for detecting that the compressor 50 has lowered and a lower face of the first detection member 60 is in contact with an upper face of the second detection member 70, and stopping compression of the compressor 50. The first detection member 60 comprises gas injection means for spraying gas to the upper face of the second detection member 70 and blowing powder bodies and the like existing on the upper face of the second detection member 70.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
