PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric discharge processing method for forming a plurality of holes communicated in a member to be processed with a high degree of precision.SOLUTION: When electrodes 41 and 42 to which a voltage different from that applied to a member 5 to be processed is applied approach the member 5 to be processed, holes 61 and 62 are formed by electric discharge with the member 5 to be processed. When the holes 61 and 62 are communicated with each other inside the member 5 to be processed, voltages of different phases are applied to the electrodes 41 and 42, and electric discharge D1 is generated between a tip part 411 of the electrode 41 and a tip part 421 of the electrode 42. At this time, while the electrodes 41 and 42 process a region 503 where the holes 61 and 62 of the member 5 to be processed are communicated with each other by electric discharge D2 with the member 5 to be processed, the tip parts 411 and 421 are mutually processed by the electric discharge D1. When the mutual electric discharge processing by the electrodes 41 and 42 progresses and end surfaces 412 and 422 of the tip parts 411 and 421 become planar, the application of the voltage to the electrodes 41 and 42 is finished. Thereby, the holes 61 and 62 can be formed like a dotted line 60. |
