PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus capable of emphasizing the color of a main subject intended by a user under certain circumstances such as underwater photographing and to provide an imaging method and an imaging program.SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus 100 includes an imaging part 102 for imaging a subject, to obtain image data, a main subject detection part 1123 for detecting the area of the main subject in the image data, a main subject color determination part 1124 for determining the color of the area of the main subject, a background color setting part 1125 for setting the color of the area being the background of the area of the main subject, an exposure control part 1126 for setting an exposure setting value, according to the color of the area being the background, and a photographing control part 1128 for controlling main imaging by the imaging part 102, according to the exposure setting value. |
