PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens interchangeable camera system, interchangeable lens, and lens control method that enable an operation member to be slid to first and second positions, and are free from faulty operations when implementing a lens control in responce to the first and second positions.SOLUTION: A lens barrel includes an MF ring that is disposed rotatably with respect to the lens barrel and slidably between a first position and a second position. When the MF ring is slid to the second position (S203→RF), an RF mode is executed that focuses a focus adjustment lens onto a distance corresponding to an absolute position of the MF ring (S213), and when invalidity of the RF mode is instructed, the RF mode is not executed (S111, S209→YES→S211).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8 |
