PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of severely limited usefulness of disulfiram in treating cocaine dependence because of its interactions with alcohol and cocaine although disulfiram provides a proof-of-concept that DBH inhibitors are promising compounds in treating cocaine dependence.SOLUTION: Provided are methods of treating patients suffering from or susceptible to at least one symptom of abuse of, dependence on, or withdrawal from at least one substance with Compound A. Also provided are certain methods of treating at least one phase of dependence on at least one addictive substance and of treating at least one phase of cocaine dependence.SELECTED DRAWING: None
