PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an MRI apparatus which enables quantitative comparison/evaluation of quantitative value images taken at different dates and by different apparatuses to be performed simply.SOLUTION: A magnetic resonance imaging apparatus comprises: a magnetic field generation part for generating a uniform static magnetic field and a gradient magnetic field superposing to the static magnetic field in a space accommodating an analyte; a detection part for irradiating the analyte with a high frequency magnetic field and detecting NMR signals generated from the analyte; and a processing part for imaging the detected NMR signals as a quantitative value image. The processing part acquires past examination information from past images acquired at different dates or by different apparatuses (202), determines current examination information using the acquired examination information (204), executes current examination based on the determined examination information (205), and compares acquired current images with the past images (206).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
