PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an abrasive article which may include a main body and an abrasive segment which is connected to the main body on a peripheral surface of the main body.SOLUTION: This segment may comprise abrasive layers 142, 146, 148 which are extended along a main body in a longer direction and include abrasive particles contained in a bond material, and wear layers 154, 156 which contact the abrasive layers and include a matrix material. The matrix material of the wear layers 154, 156 may have hardness lower than hardness of the bond material of the abrasive layers 142, 146, 148. Specifically, the matrix material of the wear layer 154 can be so formed as to be worn earlier than a first abrasive layer 142.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
