PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To supply an optimal amount of ink to a stencil in accordance with printing conditions, in a stencil printing machine which fits/uses the stencil made of only a thermoplastic resin film material. SOLUTION: This stencil printing machine is of a twin-hull printing unit structure and comprises a rotary roller 8 and an inking roller 9 arranged opposite to each other vertically, a screen 13 wound over both rollers 8 and 9, an ink supply roller 12 arranged opposite to the outer peripheral surface of the ink roller 9, and an ink supply pipe 37 for supplying an ink to the outer peripheral surface of the ink roller 9. Further, a stencil 14 is fitted to the outer peripheral surface of the screen 13 and the ink is applied to the outer peripheral surface of the ink roller 9 through a gap C between the ink roller 9 and the ink supply roller 12. In addition, a position control means is provided which can change the position of the ink supply roller 12 so as to make the gap C changeable, and controls the position of the ink supply roller 12 in the way that the gap C is optimally large enough to comply with the printing conditions.
