PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the support for an image material of a resin coating mold having water resistance, improved in blocking properties at the time operation and possible to macerate easily. SOLUTION: In the support for the image material having paper based on natural pulp as a substrate and having a resin layer applied to one side or both sides thereof, the resin layer is coated by a resin composition prepared by compounding at least 0.01-20 pts.mass of organic polymer particles with 100 pts.mass of the sum total of 40-70 pts.mass of a polyolefin resin and 30-60 pts.mass of a tackifier.
