The method involves having a tire surface (1) with a firm carrier (2). The carriers are arranged in a rubberizing (3) and in a propagation level of the tire surface and parallel to a longitudinal extending of a splice (5). A balance (11, 12) is provided or a balance which during a tensile stress in the propagation level of the tire surface reaches an even distribution of the carriers at a distance within a splice range (9, 10) as well as within the neighboring ranges of the tire surface.
