PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust heat recovery device, capable of moderating thermal stress. SOLUTION: This device comprises a first heat exchange part 1 arranged within an exhaust pipe 100 for distributing exhaust gas discharged from an engine and performing heat exchange between the exhaust gas and an internally sealed working fluid, and a second heat exchange part 2 arranged within a cooling water passage for distributing cooling water of the engine out of the exhaust pipe 110 and performing heat exchange between the working fluid and the cooling water. A clearance 9 is set between an inner wall part 110b of the exhaust pipe 100 and end surfaces 72 and 73 opposite to the second heat exchange part 2 in the first heat exchange part 1.
