PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a building capable of ventilating a specified room and reducing a permeating amount of sounds generated in the specified room to the outside of the room. SOLUTION: The building is composed of a specified room (lavatory 5), an exhaust means 31 for discharging air in the specified room to the outside of the room, an air passage 60 connecting the specified room with the inside of the building other than the specified room or the outside of the building through an underfloor space 35 or a roof space and a cut-off means 45 for cutting off an air ventilation between the other room next to the specified room via an entrance 41 for people and the inside of the building other than the specified room.
