<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce impact applied to a cartridge, when a tray is moved from an outside toward an inside of an apparatus main body or from an inside toward an outside of the apparatus body, in an electrophotographic image forming apparatus adopting a process cartridge drawer tray system. <P>SOLUTION: An intermediate electrical contact 45(a) for supplying a bias received from an output electrical contact provided in the apparatus body to the cartridge P (Y, M, C or K) is provided at a downstream side of the tray 29 in the moving direction H of the tray 29. The intermediate electrical contact 45(a) is elastically deformed in the moving direction H of the tray 29. The cartridge is provided at a leading end in the moving direction H, in such a state that the cartridge is supported by the tray and has an input electrical contact 41 coming into contact with the intermediate electrical contact 45(a), in such a state that the cartridge is supported by the tray. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
