<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for inspection, which inspects an article by using information read from a contactless IC label being attached to the article and containing an article data, and can inspect the article even through the contactless IC label is attached on any side of the article. <P>SOLUTION: The apparatus for inspection reads the article data from the contactless IC label 1 attached to an article 2 by using a gate 10 arranged with a fairly simple structure. The apparatus comprises a turn table 50 and a gate 10b, which is attached with a plurality of readers / writers 11b-1 to 11b-8 surrounding the turn table 50, and reads the data written on the contactless IC label 1 being attached to the article 2 using the turn table 50 and the gate 10b only if no data is read from the contactless IC label 1 at the gate 10a. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
