<p>The system (10) has a drying tunnel (16) with an interior filled with inert gases, and a conveying system (22) for passing an object e.g. vehicle body (12), through the tunnel. Exchangeable filling materials (90a, 90b, 90e, 90f) are placed in the interior and fill an area of the tunnel. A handling device (52) is arranged in the tunnel to open and close the object or to move a drier i.e. radiating source to radiate surfaces of the object. The shape, size and/or the position of the materials are adapted to the shape and/or size of the object and/or the space requirement of the handling device.</p> |
