The present application provides a thin film transistor, a manufacturing method therefor, a thin film transistor assembly, an array substrate, and a display device. The thin film transistor comprises a substrate, a gate disposed on the substrate, a gate insulation part, a semiconductor part, a source, and a drain. The semiconductor part and the gate are separated by using the gate insulation part, the source and the drain are connected to the semiconductor part, and projections of the gate and the semiconductor part on the substrate do not overlap mutually.
