PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic resonance imaging apparatus that maximizes an SNR taking signal correction into consideration in a VRFA multi-echo sequence.SOLUTION: A magnetic resonance imaging apparatus determines an FA of each refocus RF pulse in a VRFA multi-echo sequence so that also an SNR of a signal intensity of echo signals arranged in a k space other than its center becomes almost maximum using an indicator reflecting the signal intensity. The magnitude of the SNR when changing the FA of the refocus RF pulse is discriminated with an indicator reflecting not only the signal intensity of the echo signal arranged in the center of the space k but also the signal intensity of the echo signal arranged in the k space other than its center.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
