PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image formation apparatus that does not forbid image forming actions by an image formation unit even if a door covering the image formation unit is opened and moreover can effectively prevent wrong detection of any interlock.SOLUTION: An image formation apparatus that, while using toner to form images with an image formation unit disposed in an image formation apparatus body, collects waste toner discharged from the image formation unit into a waste toner box is so composed as to detachably fix the waste toner box to the image formation apparatus body and to perform interlock detection, by which interlocking to forbid image forming actions by the image formation unit is detected, on the basis of a fixing action to fix the waste toner box to the image formation apparatus body or an action to release the box from fixation.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
