This printer has a recording head, a platen roller, a first case to which the recording head is attached and a paper-feeding opening for supplying recording paper is provided, a second case to which the platen roller is attached and a paper discharge opening for discharge the recording paper is provided, and a lock lever provided to the first case and including a support part for rotatably supporting a shaft of the platen roller, the printer being configured so that the shaft of the platen roller enters the support part due to the first case and the second case being connected.
