A code block splitting method and device. The method comprises: determining a reference information packet length of a code block according to acquired splitting-related parameters; determining a maximum information packet length according to the reference information packet length and hardware parameters; and dividing a transmission block having a length greater than the maximum information packet length into more than two code blocks according to the acquired splitting-related parameters, the hardware parameters and the determined maximum information packet length, wherein the information length after the code block splitting is less than the determined maximum information packet length. In the method of the present application, a maximum information packet length for code block splitting is determined according to acquired splitting-related parameters, so as to perform code block splitting, thereby reducing the delay brought by the code block splitting to a system, avoiding influences on the work of the system due to the delay caused by the code block splitting, and improving performance of the system. |
