PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an erroneous detection of a touch position due to an effect of panel noise generated from a display action and foreign noise mixed from the outside.SOLUTION: A display device with a touch panel includes: a plurality of transmission electrodes and a plurality of reception electrodes; a transmission part for transmitting a driving pulse for detecting a touch position to the plurality of transmission electrodes; and a reception part for taking in voltages of the plurality of reception electrodes as data based on a timing of the rising and the falling of the driving pulses applied to the plurality of transmission electrodes and detecting a touch position based on variation of the taken in data. The reception part takes in a voltage of the reception electrode as data in a cycle which is an integral multiple of the cycle of noise having a specific frequency to each of the plurality of reception electrodes. A plurality of pieces of data taken in the reception part includes at least one each data of positive polarity data and negative polarity data in which mutual intervals are integral multiple of the cycle of noise.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
