PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seal structure for casings, a compressor using the seal structure and a seal member applied in the seal structure in which the most preferable seal performance can be realized while promoting small-sized casings by controlling a surface pressure forming location at the seal member.SOLUTION: This invention relates to a seal structure [36] for casings in which one end surface [4b1] of each of opposing end surfaces [4b1, 14c1] of two casings [4, 14] is formed with an annular groove [38], an annular seal member [40] is installed in the annular groove to abut against each end surface to seal between the casings. The seal structure is constituted in such a way that an annular outer peripheral seal part [66] for pressing an outer peripheral surface [42] of the seal member against an outer peripheral wall surface [38a] of the annular groove and an annular end surface seal part [68] for pressing an end surface side surface [46] of the seal member against the other end surface [14c1] are formed and the outer peripheral seal part and the end surface seal part form a continuous seal part [74] where the seal is continuous from the outer peripheral wall surface to the other end surface.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7 |
