PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a pixel circuit including a light-emitting element such as an OLED on a silicon substrate.SOLUTION: In an electro-optical device, a display section 100 in which pixel circuits are arrayed, a scanning line drive circuit 140 which is provided so as to surround the display section 100 with a space and drives the plurality of the pixel circuits, and a data line drive circuit 150 are formed on a silicon substrate. N wells 104 are successively formed over the display section 100. Each of the plurality of the pixel circuits has a plurality of transistors, the transistors are formed on the N wells 104 in common, and substrate potential is also formed thereon in common. The N well 104 in the display section 100 is surrounded by a P-type semiconductor substrate region 102 having conductivity type different from that of the N wells.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
